Scott Ainslie, Green MEP for London, joined the Extinction Rebellion protests in central London this week - standing up for the right to peaceful protest following the revision of Section 14 of the Public Order Act 1986.

Over the past week, hundreds of Extinction Rebellion activists have been arrested for exercising their right to peaceful protest and speaking out against the Government's inaction on the climate emergency.

Scott joined the protests in Trafalgar Square and the surrounding area, to stand in solidarity with the brave activists affected.
